Why replace your rubber lines with Braided Steel Teflon lines?
- Standard lines over 3 years old have started to deteriorate from exposure to the elements and the corrosive properties of brake fluid. Replacement is recommended for all bikes over 3 years old.
- Rubber lines expand, Braided Steel lines do not. Braided Steel lines will therefore eliminate any ‘sponge-iness’ caused by this expansion giving better ‘feel’ to your braking.
- Rubber lines will expand all the more with heat, so for summer riders and warm climates, Braided Steel is a must to prevent brake fade.
- Tests have shown stopping distances can be up to 20% better.
